Winter Maintenance for Your Vehicle

Radiator Coolant Service

Have you recently changed your radiator fluid? And, why do you need to change during the winter.

During the winter months it helps keep the engine block from freezing in extreme cold temperatures when the vehicle is parked.  Changing the fluid helps keep your vehicle running well and helps with dirt and other contaminants that can build up in the fluid.

This is the most vital part of your car's cooling system. The radiator fluid, or antifreeze coolant runs throughout your car's cooling system and helps keep your car engine cool while running.

Most car manufacturers recommend that you change the radiator fluid in your vehicle every 24,000 to 36,000 miles, or every 24 to 36 months or refer to your owner's manual.
